Volunteer
HAC is working on 3 big projects in the fields of Education, Health & Wellness and Business. Each committee is responsible for monthly meetings and one quarterly workshop or panel discussion to highlight current events and issues that affect the Haitian community at large.
Education
Promoting higher education and professional development (using our Education Committee to secure the first Haitian Research Center at Brooklyn College and our UPK partnership expansion program)
Health & Wellness
Promoting healthy living (through our annual health fairs, our work with senior centers to provide better eating options and our annual breast cancer walk)
Business
Promoting entrepreneurship and job creation (through our Business committees partnership with the Haitian American Chamber of Commerce to promote financial literacy and MWBE contracts)
